About Hampshire County Court Docket

Hampshire County court dockets and case records are divided among Circuit, Family, Magistrate, and municipal courts. West Virginia also uses separate public systems for Circuit and Magistrate searches. We organize the official search routes, clerk contacts, court-date steps, and record-request details so readers can identify the proper custodian. The resource is privately operated and has no government affiliation. Official records still come from the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk, Magistrate Clerk, town court clerk, or other court that maintains the file.

Why We Built This Site

West Virginia permits broad access to many court records, but the Hampshire County system has more than one custodian. WVPASS provides public Circuit documents, while MCR supplies a Magistrate index rather than the underlying files. The Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit and Family records. The Magistrate Clerk handles lower-court records and the public terminal. Municipal clerks hold local ordinance matters, and the separate County Clerk keeps deeds and probate records. We bring those official routes, limits, contacts, and request steps together without claiming to replace any court source.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a West Virginia court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some content pages contain search boxes operated by third parties. Those providers control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through such a tool may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not set a partner’s fee, maintain its records, or decide what its search returns. The official court or clerk remains the source for a Hampshire County docket, document, setting, or certified copy.
